OOs must have serious nerves of steel. If my bank account gets under a hundred dollars I start stressing. Going into the red for a business would probably send me to the psychiatric ward.
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

This month (August) the US Stock market lost 10% of its value since a recent high on May 19. Some of that is blamed on a slowdown in China's economy (down in July from a 6-year high point). Fuel prices are down 28% in the last 12 months.
These two facts are directly connected to your job, boys and girls. And the future may not be so rosy. The US gets 20% of all its imports from China. The short story is, if that 20% drops more, it will decrease the need for trucks to move freight on our roads. I hope this puts international business and trade news into your lap.
We are still recovering for what happened six years ago. Now China puts their foot out into the aisle while we walk by. I feel this won't affect company drivers so much right now, since if they drive less, they get paid less. But if an OO loses miles, their financials just might dip into the red more often.
