Great, Mav! You made it! Sounds like you had a good mentor.

Now the real "hard part" begins. For the first time in a big truck, you have no one with you. Check out the many things that happened to me in my first weeks: "My First Week Adventure".

Most of those mistakes were from being new & not really knowing how "things" work. Enjoy your adventure!

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Now you get to endure all the jokes I hear other truckers make about swift drivers. I don't understand WHY people make fun of swift drivers so much I just see it happen in soooo many youtube videos.

Just don't give them a reason for those jokes to be deserved :)
