Established in 1986, K & B is the largest for-hire temperature-controlled carrier in the U.S.
Headquartered in South Souix City, NE, K & B Transportation services mainly customers in the middle 1/3 of the U.S., also including service between Georgia and tthe Pacific Northwest.
Per Diem allowance. 4 cents per mile of your base pay tax free.
K & B requires 12 months experience
K&B Transportation offers medical, dental and life insurance coverage to all full time employees and their eligible dependents. Employee’s coverage becomes effective the first of the month after 60 days.
The medical coverage is provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Nebraska which is a PPO (Preferred Provider Organization) medical insurance that permits you to obtain care and service from any provider you choose.
Choose between Plan A which offers lower co-pays and deductibles or Plan B which offers affordability.
Hiring Area: Most drivers on this fleet generally live within 40 miles of Rochelle, IL. Also have openings within 30 miles of New London, WI, and other cities throughout the upper Midwest.
Drivers living within a 50 mile radius of Rochelle, IL will receive an increased pay that will boost pay to $1200 weekly. To qualify for this increased pay, drivers must park their assigned equipment in Rochelle, and commute back and forth in their personal vehicle.
K&B Transportation, Inc. operates primarily in the upper and lower Midwestern States. Most lanes of traffic operate between Minneapolis, MN on the north, to the Ohio/PA state lines in the east. Texas on the South and Denver to the West.
K&B has occasional runs to the Pacific NW for those drivers based there and occasional east coast runs to the Mid Atlantic and New England states for those who run nationally. This includes a small number of runs to New York City that are dispatched on a volunteer basis.
