Dart Transit Company Company Review

Dart Transit Company Company Overview

Dart Transit Company company logo

Founded in 1934, Dart is a stable, family-owned company and one of the nation's largest truckload dry-van carriers, offering 48-state, dedicated, and regional service with owner operators and fleet drivers.

The company has seen 3 generations of family leadership: Earl Oren, Dart's founder, Don Oren, Dart's Chairman, and David Oren, Dart's President. Under the leadership of Don Oren (David's father), Dart pioneered 48-foot and then 53-foot high-cube trailers.

Dart has been named a "Best Fleet to Drive For" and was named the #1 Fleet for Owner Operators in 2010 by the Truckload Carriers Association and Carriers Edge.
