Founded in 1949, MCT began with four leased trucks in an old tin shack in Sioux Falls, SD.
1973 - MCT starts its tuition-free driving school in Sioux Falls, which continues to turn out qualified, professional drivers today.
1981 - MCT diversifies its offerings from meat and produce. MCT is now a high service, general commodity, temperature-controlled core carrier.
1989 - The MCT Acquisition Group purchases MCT from Texas Gas & Transmission. Despite ownership changes, MCT continues to offer outstanding service and wins numerous "Carrier of the Year" awards during both years.
2013 - Willis Shaw is consolidated with Midwest Coast Trucking to form one of the nation's largest refrigerated carriers.
No felonies within the last 10 years.
No DUI within the last 5 years.
MCT has the following home time options available:
Up to $6,000 tuition reimbursement over 25 months
Skills test waiver.
You’ll receive a $6000 bonus if discharged within the last 36 months over your first 25 months of employment.
If you don’t qualify for a CDL waiver, you can take advantage of CTL's tuition sponsorship program. With a 1-year commitment, Comcar will pay your full tuition for an accredited training program.
