TransAm was founded in 1987 with 70 tractors and 100 trailers, hauling temperature-controlled freight.

TransAm has expanded beyond its first Kansas City, Missouri facility and now operates a fleet of over 1,400 tractors and over 2,400 trailers out of its headquarters in nearby Olathe, KS. TransAm also maintains a fully-staffed terminal, driver's center and maintenance facility in Rockwall, TX.

    TransAm Trucking offers a tuition reimbursement program to our student drivers. We want to invest in you and help you repay your truck driving school loan. We hire graduates of truck driving school programs across the country and we will reimburse $125 per month up to $6,000.
