Rush Trucking is a minority owned trucking and freight transportation company founded in 1984 by Andra M. Rush, a Mohawk Native American. Head-quartered in Wayne, Michigan since 1984, Rush is currently an industry leader for cost effective truckload and milk-run transportation for short-haul, long-haul and just-in-time operations.

Rush holds 48-state General Commodities Authority, ICC Contract Motor Carrier, Canadian Extra Provincial Authority (Ontario) and Michigan Intrastate Authority.

What started as a three-truck company, funded with $10,000 from Rush's credit cards and a $5,000 loan from her parents has grown to more than 700 tractors, 1,100 trailers, 450 employees / company drivers, and 400 owner-operators. Acquisitions over the past decade, have expanded The Rush Group to include Blazer Truck Lines, Expedited Delivery Service, Raycan Transport (a Canadian carrier) and Rush Distribution Services.

  • Current CDL-A License
  • No drug or alcohol related offenses in the last 5 years.
  • 23 Years of age.
  • Maximum 6 points in the last 3 years on MVR.
  • 6 months Verifiable Tractor/ Trailer experience within past 3 years.
  • Meet All Federal Motor Carrier D.O.T. Requirements and Safety Qualifications.
  • Pass D.O.T. Pre-employment physical and Drug screen at our Authorized clinics.
  • All Drivers and Owner Operators must pass a road test administered by Rush Trucking.
