Lol Slowly is good when first starting out. I want to keep the FM that my trainer uses, he’s really good. Hopefully I can prove myself and get some southern runs. Hmmmm I wonder if he likes chocolate? 😂
We are being routed back to Sprimo so they can get my CPAP in the system and so my trainer can get some stuff taken care of. We are hoping to be back out on the road quickly. If not, we will take the opportunity to get some clothes washed.
Have a great day everyone!
CPAP is a breathing assist device which is worn over the mouth or nose. It provides nighttime relief for individuals who suffer from Sleep Apnea.
Kim T,
I’ve spent my morning reading your thread. There has been a wealth of information. I’ve been considering obtaining my CDL for some time but have a specific time table for when I’d make the jump (spring or summer ‘19). I’m also leaning towards Prime because I like their length of training, their training pay, and contract. Until next year, I’ll continue to read everyone’s personal experiences and study for the CDL. Take care and good luck.

Welcome Elizabeth! This whole site has a lot of useful information. I’m glad you enjoyed reading my post. Thank you.
I am very happy with my decision to come to Prime. Good luck to you and good luck and keep us up to date on your journey.

Welcome Elizabeth. I too took quite some time researching where I’d go for my paid company training. While you’re waiting to make your move, here are some useful links to prepare & be ahead of the game when that time comes.
A pre-trip inspection is a thorough inspection of the truck completed before driving for the first time each day.
Federal and state laws require that drivers inspect their vehicles. Federal and state inspectors also may inspect your vehicles. If they judge a vehicle to be unsafe, they will put it “out of service” until it is repaired.

Hi guys! I just wanted to update a little while I’m sitting here in the Blue Beacon in AZ. After I deliver this load I will have a little over 25,000 of my 30,000 training miles. I am going home for Thanksgiving and will be upgrading to my own truck soon after returning from hometime. Wooooooohoooooooo!!!!!!!! When I first started training it seemed like 30,000 miles would take forever but it’s here. It’s happening. I’m excited and scared to death to be on my own but I think I’m as ready as I’ll ever be.
So, until my next update...take care and be safe out there, the driver you are passing may be me.
Sooo close! That's such an exciting feeling. Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
Thanks Turtle! I hope you get to enjoy your Thanksgiving too b
I'll be home in Chesapeake VA for thanksgiving as you will be home in WV.
Time flies when you are having fun......
Have a safe trip.....hope to see you sometime out on the road......never know when we will cross paths...

I know the feeling, they have kept me in the North East region mostly since I went slowly. I went down to Georgia in Texas once but other then that, they keep me in the North East.

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure.
